To Stocks or to Bonds?

The year of the Ox was supposed to bring a tinge of optimism and hope for the people. Whether that statement can be validated or not depends on whether you see the glass as half full or half empty. To the optimist, 2009 brings a lot of good opportunities in the financial market, both domestic and global. There are strong buy signals in different financial instruments that people had shunned away from and so it begets the ultimate question of where to invest. To the majority of the investing public, it is a dilemma between protection and growth; a battle between bonds and stocks. (more…)
